Consolidation of Pension Portfolios — Nationale-Nederlanden
Challenge: Technical migration of over 650,000 pension policies
My Role: Test consultant responsible for planning, execution and reporting for a large-scale pension migration. Using a custom shadow migration pipeline, I demonstrated that all migrated policies and financial entitlements had been transferred to the target system accurately, down to the last penny and without surprises.
Real-Time Monitoring — Nederlandse Spoorwegen
Challenge: Transition from legacy middleware (IBM WebSphere MQ) to a modern event-driven architecture (AMQP)
My Role: As senior test consultant, I was responsible for end-to-end testing during the rollout of the new AMQP infrastructure replacing IBM WebSphere. Working closely with DevOps teams across the chain, I ensured the correct tests and monitoring were in place for the change in message traffic. As a result, the chain was successfully and reliably connected with minimal impact on operations.
Life Insurance Data Conversions — Delta Lloyd
Challenge: Designing and executing data conversion testing for complex life insurance portfolios comprising approximately 125,000 policies
My Role: Test consultant responsible for coordinating the migration and target-application test team. Responsible for the test strategy, team guidance and overall quality assurance, enabling the legacy source systems to be decommissioned with minimal risk.

I am Frans Kremers, a freelance senior test consultant. In 2009, I graduated as an engineer in Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Since then, I have developed my expertise in complex data projects. Where others see complexity, my analytical capacity helps me clarify complicated issues in a short period of time.
In my work as a freelance test consultant, I combine scientific curiosity with a no-nonsense, pragmatic approach to quickly bring clarity into IT projects.
